Gotland sheepskin is probably the most exclusive sheepskin in the world. The Gotland sheep is originally from the Swedish island of Gotland, but has spread over the Swedish mainland and has made its way to Denmark, where we are located. Gotland sheepskin is easily recognisable through the natural grey curls. These can range from light grey colours that are mixed with white to dark, almost anthracite tones. Most Gotland sheepskin rugs, however, have a grey colour similar to the sample on the picture.
