This double sheepskin from New Zealand is very decorative and gives your home some extra warmth and coziness. The skin is of high quality, which can be felt in the thickness of the soft wool. The skin consists of eight skins that is sewed together, but this is not noticeable, because it is made with very strict accuracy in accordance to the hair length and thickness in the fur. The skin is very easy to maintain. As long as you make sure to maintain it occasionally, you can be sure that you will have a skin, that lasts a lifetime.
The Octo Sheepskin rug from New Zealand is a great match both for a country house and for a modern home. This sheepskin rug has been handcrafted from eight New Zealand sheepskins that have been carefully selected in order to achieve a uniform look. The New Zealand sheepskin has soft, tight and relatively straight hair that measure around 2 cm.
The rug can also be placed on top of large-sized beds, greatly adding to your comfort when the time comes to relax.Warm, cosy and incredibly soft, no other material can match the feeling of a expertly crafted sheepskin rug such as this.

Made to order
Built for you in Denmark
This piece is not sitting in a warehouse waiting to be picked. It is made in our own workshop in Denmark once you order it, which is why it takes 2 to 4 weeks rather than 2 to 4 days.
Frames are cut and joined from solid oak, ash or beech. Hides are matched by hand so the wool runs in one direction across the piece, then stretched, trimmed and fixed by the same person who started it. Nothing is assembled from pre-cut panels on a line.
It is a slower way to work and it costs more. It is also why a 20 year warranty is a reasonable thing for us to offer, and why these pieces can be reupholstered in fifteen years instead of thrown out.
