This unique Icelandic sheepskin is very soft and warm, and it fits perfectly in the armchair or on the couch. The Icelandic sheep lives in the rough nature and the long fur is typically 15 cm long and protects the skin from humidity while the inner, shorter fur keeps the sheep warm. The skin fits in to any interior and gives your home a natural Nordic look.
The sheepskin is the perfect tool to give extra warmth in your living room and you can be sure that no one has a sheepskin like yours. When you buy this skin, you should know that the skins in the pictures are just examples and not the exact skin that will be delivered to you. The skins are all unique in their colouring.
The sheepskin is a natural product of high quality. The coat is durable while having a unique, natural shine. The Icelandic sheep live free in the nature and the long coat protects their skin while the innermost wool keeps the sheep warm. This sheepskin is a natural product and therefore it is nearly impossible to find two skins alike. This also means that no one has a sheepskin like yours. When you buy this skin you should know that the pictures you see are just examples because the skins are unique in their colours and nuances.

A real hide
No two are the same
Every sheepskin here is a single animal hide, so the outline is organic and the size varies by an inch or two either way. Undyed skins vary more still, because the shade shifts across the animal and no two grew the same.
That is the material behaving like a natural one rather than a fault. What we do control is the selection: hides are chosen for wool density, evenness of the crop, and how supple the leather side stays after tanning.
Our skins are tested by TUV SUD and carry the OEKO-TEX Leather Standard, which means they have been checked for chromium 6, formaldehyde and a list of other substances you would not want on something your family sits on.
